PRACTICAL FIREARMS TRAINING CLASSES

MTC classes are about three hours in length. We built our training program to maximize information and skills retention. Our experience shows that shorter, half-day classes yield better results – our students can fully immerse themselves in the class, absorb the three hours of material, practice the skills they’ve learned, and return for a follow-up class. This mitigates confusion and burnout in training, and ultimately creates better-trained shooters.

We pride ourselves on providing exceptional instruction with a low student-instructor ratio for focused training and less down time. Our classes are never more than 5 students.

COST

1 – 2 students: $100 per student

3 – 5 students: $80 per student

BASIC

TRAINING

Learn basic marksmanship skills, safety, and proper care and cleaning of your weapon(s).

INTERMEDIATE

TRAINING

Learn weapons-handling skills, to include draws, reloading, shooting from cover, weapon retention, malfunctions, and one-hand shooting.

ADVANCED

TRAINING

Improve practical skills with moving targets, moving shooter, speed and accuracy, and scenario training.

CONCEALED CARRY

Competency in carrying a concealed weapon includes much more than simple marksmanship. With our concealed carry class, you will learn the legal considerations given to concealed carry in conjunction with practical application of concealed carry tactics, including mental preparation, situational awareness, visualization, firearm tactics, and legal ramifications. Classes can be customized.

SECURITY TRAINING

MTC can assist with the creation and implementation of a security plan for your facility. Security training encompasses preparation for a broad range of scenarios to include prevention, de-escalation, use of force, and active shooter.

We offer a site security assessment, on-site training for security team members, and range training for armed security team members. Security training is beneficial for businesses, churches, lodges, and other large gathering locations.

CLASS REQUIREMENTS

All students must be legally qualified to possess a weapon. Minors must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.

Students must provide the following:

eye and hearing protection;
a weapon in good condition;
holster and mag pouch for Concealed Carry, Intermediate, and Advanced classes,
minimum 100 rounds of ammunition.
